bộ khuếch đại | Fully differential amplifiers | detail | OPA862 |
The OPA862 is a single-ended to differential analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver with high input impedance for directly interfacing with sensors. The device only consumes 3.1-mA quiescent current for an output-referred noise density of 8.3 nV/√ Hz in a gain of 2-V/V configuration. A fully differential amplifier configured in a gain of 1 V/V with 1-kΩ resistors must be less than 1 nV/√ Hz to achieve the OPA862 equivalent output-referred noise density of 8.3 nV/√ Hz. The OPA862 can be configured for other gains using external resistors. The device has a large gain-bandwidth product of 400 MHz and a slew rate of 140 V/µs. This yields exceptional linearity and fast-settling, 18-bit performance over comparable single-ended-to-differential ADC drivers. The device includes a reference input pin for setting the output common-mode voltage.

giao diện | CAN & LIN transceivers & SBCs | detail | TCAN1462V-Q1 |
The TCAN1462-Q1 and TCAN1462V-Q1 are high speed Controller Area Network (CAN) transceivers that meet the physical layer requirements of the ISO 11898-2:2016 high speed CAN specification and the CiA 601-4 Signal Improvement Capability (SIC) specification. The devices reduce signal ringing at dominant-to-recessive edge and enable higher throughput in complex network topologies. Signal improvement capability allows the applications to extract real benefit of CAN FD (flexible data rate) by operating at 2 Mbps, or operating at 5 Mbps or higher in large networks with multiple unterminated stubs. The devices meet the timing specifications mandated by CiA 601-4; thus, have much tighter bit timing symmetry compared to a regular CAN FD transceivers. This provides larger timing window to sample the correct bit and enables error-free communication in large complex star networks where ringing and bit distortion are inherent. These devices are pin-compatible to 8-pin CAN FD transceivers, such as TCAN1044A-Q1 or TCAN1042-Q1.

giao diện | Application-specific port protection ICs | detail | TPD4S311A |
The TPD4S311 is a single-chip USB Type-C port protection device that provides 20-V Short-to-VBUS overvoltage and IEC ESD protection. Since the release of the USB Type-C connector, many products and accessories for USB Type-C have been released that do not meet the USB Type-C specification. One example of this is USB Type-C Power Delivery adaptors that only place 20 V on the VBUS line. Another concern for USB Type-C is that mechanical twisting and sliding of the connector could short pins due to the close proximity they have in this small connector. This can cause 20-V VBUS to be shorted to the CC and SBU pins. Also due to the proximity of the pins in the Type-C connector, there is a heightened concern that debris and moisture will cause the 20-V VBUS pin to be shorted to the CC and SBU pins. These non-ideal equipments and mechanical events make it necessary for the CC and SBU pins to be 20-V tolerant, even though the pins only operate at 5 V or lower. The TPD4S311 enables the CC and SBU pins to be 20-V tolerant without interfering with normal operation by providing over-voltage protection on the CC and SBU pins. The device places high voltage FETs in series on the SBU and CC lines. When a voltage above the OVP threshold is detected on these lines, the high voltage switches are opened up, isolating the rest of the system from the high voltage condition present on the connector. Finally, most systems require IEC 61000-4-2 system level ESD protection for external pins. The TPD4S311 integrates IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection for the CC1, CC2, SBU1, and SBU2 pins, eliminating the need to place high voltage TVS diodes externally on the connector.

giao diện | HDMI, DisplayPort & MIPI ICs | detail | TDP0604 |
The TDP0604 is a HDMI 2.0 redriver supporting data rates up to 6 Gbps. It is backwards compatible to HDMI 1.4b. The high-speed differential inputs and outputs can be either AC-coupled or DC-coupled which qualifies the TDP0604 to be used as a DP++ to HDMI level shifter or HDMI redriver. The TDP0604 is a hybrid redriver supporting both source and sink applications. A hybrid redriver can operate either in a linear or limited redriver function. When configured as a limited redriver, the TDP0604 differential output voltage levels are independent of the graphics process unit (GPU) output levels ensuring HDMI compliant levels at the receptacle. The limited redriver mode is recommended for HDMI source applications. When configured as a linear redriver, the TDP0604 differential output levels are a linear function of the GPU output levels enabling TDP0604 to be transparent to link training and operate as a channel shortener. Linear redriver mode is recommended for HDMI sink applications. The TDP0604 has an integrated HPD level shifter. The HPD level shifter will shift the 5-V HPD signal to either 1.8-V or 3.3-V. The level shifter output can also be configured for push, pull, or open-drain. Also integrated in the TDP0604 is a Digital Display Control (DDC) buffer. The DDC buffer offers capacitance isolation and level shifters 5-V DDC levels to as low as 1.2-V levels. The integration of the level shifter eliminates discrete solutions and thereby saves system cost. The TDP0604 supports single power supply rails of 3.3-V on VCC and is offered in a commercial temperature ( TDP0604) and industrial temperature ( TDP0604I).

giao diện | FPD-Link SerDes | detail | DS90UB940N-Q1 |
The DS90UB940N-Q1 is a FPD-Link III deserializer which, together with the DS90UB949/947/929-Q1 serializers, converts 1-lane or 2-lane FPD-Link III streams into a MIPI® CSI-2 format. The deserializer can operate over cost-effective, 50-Ω, single-ended coaxial or 100-Ω, differential shielded twisted-pair (STP) cables. The device recovers the data from one or two FPD-Link III serial streams and translates the data into a Camera Serial Interface (CSI-2) format that can support video resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p60 with 24-bit color depth. The FPD-Link III interface supports video and audio data transmission and full duplex control, including I2C and SPI communication, over the same differential link. Consolidation of video data and control over two differential pairs decreases the interconnect size and weight and simplifies the system design. EMI is minimized by the use of low voltage differential signaling, data scrambling, and randomization. In backward compatible mode, the device supports up to WXGA and 720p resolutions with 24-bit color depth over a single differential link. The device automatically senses the FPD-Link III channels and supplies a clock alignment and de-skew functionality without the need for any special training patterns. This ensures skew phase tolerance from mismatches in interconnect wires such as PCB trace routing, cable pair-to-pair length differences, and connector imbalances.

giao diện | PCIe, SAS & SATA ICs | detail | SN75LVPE5412 |
The SN75LVPE5412 is a four channel linear redriver with integrated demultiplexer (demux). The low-power high-performance linear redriver is designed to support PCIe 5.0 and other interfaces up to 32 Gbps. The SN75LVPE5412 receivers deploy continuous time linear equalizers (CTLE) to provide a high-frequency boost. The equalizer can open an input eye that is completely closed due to inter-symbol interference (ISI) induced by an interconnect medium, such as PCB traces and cables. During PCIe link training the linear redriver along with the passive channel in between a Root Complex (RC) and Endpoint (EP) as a whole get trained for best transmit and receive equalization settings resulting in the best electrical link. Low channel to channel cross-talk, low additive jitter and excellent return loss allows the device to become almost a passive element in the link. The devices has internal linear voltage regulator to provide clean power supply for high speed data paths that provides high immunity to any supply noise on the board. The SN75LVPE5412 implements high speed testing during production for reliable high volume manufacturing. The device also has low AC and DC gain variation providing consistent equalization in high volume platform deployment.

giao diện | RS-232 transceivers | detail | TRSF3243E |
The TRSF3243E consists of three line drivers, five line receivers, and a dual charge-pump circuit with ±15-kV ESD (HBM and IEC61000-4-2, Air-Gap Discharge) and ±8-kV ESD (IEC61000-4-2, Contact Discharge) protection on serial-port connection pins. This device provides the electrical interface between an asynchronous communication controller and the serial-port connector. The charge pump and four small external capacitors allow operation from a single 3-V to 5.5-V supply. In addition, this device includes an always-active noninverting output (ROUT2B), which allows applications using the ring indicator to transmit data while the device is powered down. The device operates at data signaling rates up to 1 Mbit/s and an increased slew-rate range of 18 V/µs to 150 V/µs. Flexible control options for power management are available when the serial port is inactive. The auto-powerdown feature functions when FORCEON is low and FORCEOFF is high. During this mode of operation, if the device does not sense a valid RS-232 signal, the driver outputs are disabled. If FORCEOFF is set low, both drivers and receivers (except ROUT2B) are shut off, and the supply current is reduced to 1 µA. Disconnecting the serial port or turning off the peripheral drivers causes the auto-powerdown condition to occur.

The TL16C750E is a single universal asynchronous receiver transmitter (UART) with 128-byte FIFOs, fractional baud rate support, automatic hardware, software flow control and data rates up to 6 Mbps. The device offers enhanced features such as fractional baud rate and a transmission character control register (TCR) that stores received FIFO threshold level to start or stop transmission during hardware and software flow control automatically without intervention from the CPU. With the FIFO RDY register, the software gets the status of TXRDY or RXRDY, saving extra GPIO usage. On-chip status registers provide the user with error indications, operational status, and modem interface control. System interrupts may be tailored to meet user requirements. An internal loop-back capability allows onboard diagnostics. The TL16C750E incorporates the functionality of UART, the UART having its own register set and FIFO. This version includes the Alternate Function Register (AFR) and this is used to enable some extra functionality beyond the capabilities of the TL16C750 version. One addition is the IrDA mode, which supports Standard IrDA (SIR) mode with baud rates from 2400 to 115.2 kbps. The third addition is support for RS-485 bus drivers or transceivers by providing an output pin (DTRx) per channel, which is timed to keep the RS-485 driver enabled as long as transmit data is pending. Another name for the UART function is asynchronous communications element (ACE), and these terms are used interchangeably. The bulk of this document describes the behavior of each ACE, with the understanding that two such devices are incorporated into the TL16C750E device.

The TUSB8043A is a four-port USB 3.2 x1 Gen1 (5 Gbps) hub. It provides simultaneous SuperSpeed USB and high-speed/full-speed connections on the upstream port and provides SuperSpeed USB, high-speed, full-speed, or low-speed connections on the downstream ports. When the upstream port is connected to an electrical environment that only supports high-speed or full-speed/low-speed connections, SuperSpeed USB connectivity is disabled on the downstream ports. When the upstream port is connected to an electrical environment that only supports full-speed/low-speed connections, SuperSpeed USB and high-speed connectivity are disabled on the downstream ports. The TUSB8043A supports per port or ganged power switching and over-current protection, and supports battery charging applications. An individually port power controlled hub switches power on or off to each downstream port as requested by the USB host. Also when an individually port power controlled hub senses an over-current event, only power to the affected downstream port is switched off. A ganged hub switches on power to all its downstream ports when power is required to be on for any port. The power to the downstream ports is not switched off unless all ports are in a state that allows power to be removed. Also when a ganged hub senses an over-current event, power to all downstream ports is switched off. The TUSB8043A downstream ports provide support for battery charging applications by providing Battery Charging Downstream Port (CDP) handshaking support. It also supports a Dedicated Charging Port (DCP) mode when the upstream port is not connected. The DCP mode supports USB devices which support with the USB Battery Charging, Galaxy Charging, and Chinese Telecommunications Industry Standard YD/T 1591-2009. In addition when upstream port is unconnected, the TUSB8043A supports the divider charging port modes (ACPx modes) and an automatic transition through all modes, starting with ACP3 and ending in DCP.

Sự cách ly | Isolated comparators | detail | AMC22C12-Q1 |
The AMC22C12-Q1 is an isolated window comparator with a short response time. The open-drain output is separated from the input circuitry by an isolation barrier that is highly resistant to magnetic interference. This barrier is certified to provide galvanic isolation of up to 3 kVRMS according to DIN EN IEC 60747-17 (VDE 0884-17) and UL1577, and supports a working voltage of up to 560 VRMS. Sự cách ly | Isolated DC/DC converters & modules | detail | UCC25800-Q1 |
The UCC25800-Q1 ultra-low EMI transformer driver integrates the switching power stage, the control, and the protection circuits to simplify isolated bias supply designs. It allows the design to utilize a transformer with higher leakage inductance, but much smaller parasitic primary-to-secondary capacitance. This low-capacitance transformer design enables an order of magnitude reduction in the common-mode current injection through the bias transformer. This makes the transformer driver an ideal solution for the isolated bias supply in various automotive applications to minimize the EMI noise caused by the high-speed switching devices. The soft-switching feature further reduces the EMI noise. The transformer driver has a programmable frequency range of 100 kHz to 1.2 MHz. This high switching frequency reduces the transformer size and footprint, as well as the overall cost of the bias supply. The integrated SYNC function allows the system bias supplies to synchronize with an external clock signal, further reducing the system level noise. The dead-time adjusts automatically to minimize the conduction loss and simplify the design. The programmable maximum dead-time ensures power stage design flexibility. With the integrated, low-resistance switching power stage, the transformer driver can achieve a 6-W design with 24-V input, and up to 9-W from 34-V input. With a fixed input voltage, the open-loop control also helps the output regulation to remain ±5% when the load is above 10%. The programmable overcurrent protection (OCP) allows flexibility on the power stage design to minimize the transformer size. The protection features such as adjustable OCP, input OVP, TSD and the protection from pin faults ensure robust operation. A fixed 1.5-ms soft-start period reduces the inrush current during start-up and fault recovery. The transformer driver also provides a dedicated multi-function pin for external disabling, and fault code reporting. The fault code reporting sends the fault code once the bias supply is in the protection mode. The UCC25800-Q1 transformer driver is offered in an 8-pin DGN package with the thermal pad to enhance its thermal handling capability

Sự cách ly | Solid-state relays | detail | TPSI3050 |
The TPSI3050 is a fully integrated, isolated switch driver, which when combined with an external power switch, forms a complete isolated Solid State Relay (SSR). With a nominal gate drive voltage of 10 V with 1.5/3.0-A peak source and sink current, a large variety of external power switches can be chosen to meet a wide range of applications. The TPSI3050 generates its own secondary bias supply from the power received from its primary side, so no isolated secondary supply bias is required. Additionally, the TPSI3050 can optionally supply power to external supporting circuitry for various application needs. The TPSI3050 supports two modes of operation based on the number of input pins required. In two-wire mode, typically found in driving mechanical relays, controlling the switch requires only two pins and supports a wide voltage range of operation of 6.5 V to 48 V. In three-wire mode, the primary supply of 3 V to 5.5 V is supplied externally, and the switch is controlled through a separate enable. Available in three-wire mode only, the TPSI3050S features a one-shot enable for the switch control. This feature is useful for driving SCRs that typically require only one pulse of current to trigger. The secondary side provides a regulated, floating supply rail of 10 V for driving a large variety of power switches with no need for a secondary bias supply. The application can drive single power switches for DC applications or dual back-to-back power switches for AC applications, as well as various types of SCR. The TPSI3050 integrated isolation protection is extremely robust with much higher reliability, lower power consumption, and increased temperature ranges than traditional mechanical relays and optocouplers. The power transfer of the TPSI3050 can be adjusted by selecting one of seven power level settings using an external resistor from the PXFR pin to VSSP. This action allows for tradeoffs in power dissipation versus power provided on the secondary depending on the needs of the application.

Logic & voltage translation | General-purpose transceivers | detail | SN54LVC646A-SP |
The SN54LVC646A octal bus transceiver and register is designed for 2.7-V to 3.6-V VCC operation. This device consists of bus-transceiver circuits, D-type flip-flops, and control circuitry arranged for multiplexed transmission of data directly from the input bus or from the internal registers. Data on the A or B bus is clocked into the registers on the low-to-high transition of the appropriate clock (CLKAB or CLKBA) input. Figure 1 shows the four fundamental bus-management functions that are performed with the SN54LVC646A device. Output-enable (OE) and direction-control (DIR) inputs control the transceiver functions. In the transceiver mode, data present at the high-impedance port is stored in either register or in both. The select-control (SAB and SBA) inputs can multiplex stored and real-time (transparent mode) data. DIR determines which bus receives data when OE is low. In the isolation mode (OE high), A data is stored in one register and B data can be stored in the other register. When an output function is disabled, the input function still is enabled and can be used to store and transmit data. Only one of the two buses, A or B, can be driven at a time. Inputs can be driven from either 3.3-V or 5-V devices. This feature allows the use of this device as a translator in a mixed 3.3-V/5-V system environment. This device is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuitry disables the outputs, preventing damaging current backflow through the device when it is powered down. To ensure the high-impedance state during power up or power down, OE should be tied to VCC through a pullup resistor; the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver

Logic & voltage translation | Bus-termination arrays | detail | CD40117B |
CD40117B is a dual 4-bit terminator that can be programmed by means of STROBE and DATA control bits to function as pull-up or pull-down resistors. The CD40117B can also be programmed to function as latches to terminate any open or unused CMOS logic when used with 3-state logic or during a power-down condition. Considerable savings in power and board space can be realized when this device is used to replace pull-up or pull-down resistors. When the STROBE is in the logic “”1″” state, the terminator functions as a pull-up resistor if the DATA input is a logic “”1″” or as a pull down resistor if the DATA input is a logic “”0″”. When the STROBE is in the logic “”0″” state, the terminator performs the latch functions, i.e., it follows the changing states of the bus. If the bus goes into the high-Z state or into a power-down condition, the latched terminator retains the data (“”1″” or “”0″”) that the bus carried before it switched to the high-Z or power-down state. If and when the bus changes from the high-Z state to the state opposite to that which the latch is storing, the bus will override the latch and the terminator will reflect the state on the bus. The small geometries chosen for the inverters in the latch allow this override mode. When checking the data bus whose last state is being preserved by the terminator, a resistor should be used in series with the probe whose input capacitance could trip the small latches. The resistance should be in excess of the output impedance of the latch, i.e., R should be > 30 K at VDD = 10 V. The STROBE and DATA inputs in each section can be paralleled allowing this device to be used as an 8-bit bus terminator. The CD40117B types are supplied in 14-lead dual-in-line plastic packages (E suffix), 14-lead small-outline packages (M, MT, M96, and NSR suffixes), and 14-lead thin shrink small-outline packages (PW and PWR suffixes).

trình điều khiển động cơ | Brushed DC (BDC) motor drivers | detail | DRV8251A |
The DRV8251A device is an integrated motor driver with N-channel H-bridge, charge pump, current sense feedback, current regulation, and protection circuitry. The charge pump improves efficiency by supporting N-channel MOSFET half bridges and 100% duty cycle driving. An internal current mirror architecture on the IPROPI pin implements current sensing and regulation. This eliminates the need for a large power shunt resistor, saving board area and reducing system cost. trình điều khiển động cơ | Half-bridge drivers | detail | UCC27284 |
The UCC27284 is a robust N-channel MOSFET driver with a maximum switch node (HS) voltage rating of 100 V. It allows for two N-channel MOSFETs to be controlled in half-bridge or synchronous buck configuration-based topologies. Its 3-A peak source and sink current along with low pull-up and pull-down resistance allows the UCC27284 to drive large power MOSFETs with minimum switching losses during the transition of the MOSFET Miller plateau. Since the inputs are independent of the supply voltage, UCC27284 can be used in conjunction with both analog and digital controllers. Two inputs, and therefore outputs, can be overlapped, if needed, in applications such as secondary side full-bridge synchronous rectification. The input pins as well as the HS pin are able to tolerate significant negative voltage, which improves system robustness. The enable and disable functionality provides additional system flexibility by reducing the gate driver power consumption and quickly responds to fault events within the system. 5-V UVLO allows systems to operate at lower bias voltages, which is necessary in many high frequency applications and improves system efficiency in certain operating modes. Small propagation delay and delay matching specifications minimize the dead-time requirement which further improves efficiency. Undervoltage lockout (UVLO) is provided for both the high-side and low-side driver stages forcing the outputs low if the VDD voltage is below the specified threshold. An integrated bootstrap diode eliminates the need for an external discrete diode in many applications, which saves board space and reduces system cost. UCC27284 is offered in a small package enabling high density designs.

The UCC27624-Q1 is a dual-channel, high-speed, low-side gate driver that effectively drives MOSFET, IGBT, SiC, and GaN power switches. UCC27624-Q1 has a typical peak drive strength of 5 A, which reduces rise and fall times of the power switches, lowers switching losses, and increases efficiency. The device’s fast propagation delay (17-ns typical) yields better power stage efficiency by improving the deadtime optimization, pulse width utilization, control loop response, and transient performance of the system. UCC27624-Q1 can handle –10 V at its inputs, which improves robustness in systems with moderate ground bouncing. The inputs are independent of supply voltage and can be connected to most controller outputs for maximum control flexibility. An independent enable signal allows the power stage to be controlled independently of main control logic. In the event of a system fault, the gate driver can quickly shut-off by pulling enable low. Many high-frequency switching power supplies exhibit noise at the gate of the power device, which can get injected into the output pin on the gate driver and can cause the driver to malfunction. The device’s transient reverse current and reverse voltage capability allow it to tolerate noise on the gate of the power device or pulse-transformer and avoid driver malfunction. The UCC27624-Q1 also features undervoltage lockout (UVLO) for improved system robustness. When there is not enough bias voltage to fully enhance the power device, the gate driver output is held low by the strong internal pull down MOSFET.

These two signals can be shared between multiple TPS65680 devices in applications that require a higher number of output channels than one device can generate. Customer-defined patterns and configuration settings can be stored in an on-chip nonvolatile memory to be used as the default settings after power up. Alternatively, this data can be written to the device after power up, using the I2C interface. The programmability of the TPS65680 device lets you change the output pattern without reprogramming or changing the TCON. Thus one PCB can support many different panels, which simplifies the system design, shortens the design cycle and enables economies of scale.
